Donations are always welcome. Search and Rescue Assist Inc. (SARA) is a non-profit organization that relies on volunteers and support from the community for its continued operations. Your tax-deductible donation is used for specialized training, its instructor fees, gear for the search dogs, bringing in heavy equipment to make rubble piles, agility, and directional equipment, and general maintenance & care of the Linthicum USAR K-9 Training Facility.

Your generous donation of money helps these specialized search dog teams to prepare for times of need when they are called upon to search for people buried in the aftermath of a natural disaster or terrorist act. Your donation helps us help the victims in these circumstances.

Volunteer Time
If you live in Washington DC., Northern Virginia, Central Maryland area you can help us by taking on a maintenance task at the Linthicum USAR K-9 Training Facility. These tasks include (but are not limited to) mowing and trimming the directional and agility area; building / repairing agility equipment; being a 􀳦subject􀳦 at evaluations, and helping with the website and other administrative duties.
